RHONA!!!

so rhona came by the 'heke for the night. heh it was great catching up and making plans for the south island. heh well actually we dont have plans for the south island...and thats the best part eh? rhona got to meet ilona and alexander (mike was in the states)...
we had dinner at lazy lounge followed by a few drinks and hit the town from there. we ended up going to the waihitian (a more hip trendy bar, especially compared to malones). it was bumpin' heh over there but then somehow stumbled to malones....we played pool and chatted with some of the locals until closing and managed to get home safe n sound.
the next morning (well afternoon) we went to charley farley's for tapas and a quick tour of the island before rhona had to head out.

had a great time, was just a glimpse of the fun we will have while traveling....

keeping busy

my days always seem to fill up and with rather random things...here is how i spend most of my time:

every tuesday i play indoor soccer with the lazy lounge crew...lazy lounge is a great cafe where i spend most of my time :) they are all in the picture below...(izra lisa nicj danny and me)





otherwise i am playing around with alexander, settin up play dates and running around on the beach....oh and occasionally taste testing after work at malones with the boss and other co workers :)

malones

so at malones ita brings on a variety of things...ranging from drum and bass (my friend del was the DJ) Billy TK (well known amongst Kiwis here and plays santana esque music. and if that doesnt suite your fancy...you can make your own entertainment....jerry won the bet that yes, indeed, he knows how to crochet :)

waiheke the beautiful

these are pics from the walk alexander and i make to the playground with the beach. we took a different route back and found some miniature horses in a man's front yard...this other semi random photo is of some people heading over to auckland for a bachelors party...no one seemed to even give them a second glance...heh only in waiheke eh?

my cute lil friend playing dress up at one of the play groups we go to every week...its a great facility with play dough, bicycles, books, a play market, and of course costumes... he tried on each and every one of them :)
